Initiatives toward a Better Work-Life Balance
The Company has introduced a number of programs to support individual employee work-styles and create a “friendly work environment” in which individuals can fully demonstrate their abilities. It is working to encourage employees learn about and take advantage of them.
The Company has introduced the following action plan, based on the “Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising the Next-Generation of Children,” aimed at creating a work environment in which employees can exercise their abilities and strike a comfortable balance between work and life:
- Period:Two years from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2017
|Goal 1||Deepen employee understanding of the support the Company offers to help them establish a balance between work and childrearing, and encourage more than one male employee to take childcare leave during the period.|
|Goal 2||Increase employee awareness of work-style options and the support the Company offers for childrearing and nursing care for elderly parents, and develop new initiatives in these areas.|
|Goal 3||Implement measures to decrease total working hours and reduce health risks.|
